You might get lucky- I had a Toyota Sienna out of the Enterprise lot in Milwaukee last year.

Isn’t this, like, pretty much the “plot” of every episode of Top Gear?
2nd gear-
“What does it matter if it’s all original if it was originally all crap?” Best/ only sentence needed here
A friend drives a CJ that is the “old French woodsman’s axe” of cars (Blade replaced twice, handle replaced 3 times, but still the same axe). He has rplaced most of the “body” with fiberglassy bits and it looks great! I’m nowhere near as much of a Jeep true believer- CP
Totally agree with Torch on this one- that Lada is perfect. Second place for me would be a VW thing. Totalitarian roots, easy to get fixed, plus BEACH car. Heres one right down the road for under 7 grand
KL- Glad you were able to duck out of a meeting long enough to post this-keep up the good work!
Bently Arnage: It’s super, it’s a car. RWD, twin-turbo V8, will impress the people you want to impress whilst weeding out the chavs. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2001-Bentley-Arnage-100-BENTLEY-DEALER-SERVICED-218K-ORIG-STKR-/152348190356?forcerrptr=true&hash=item2378a8e694:g:IA0AAOSwCGVYB9NR&item=152348190356
“As an aside, I’m just happy safety wasn’t on your list. No reason.”
A French project car you can drive, and charm that is priceless. NPNPNP
This is the car I need, but not the one I want. Want: my old ‘05 Legacy GT Wagon (sold it; big mistake). Will probably end up with a Volvo V60.
None of the people I know in NYC are lazy or rich, nor do I make that representation. I do not pretend to have my finger on the pulse. Roughly 97% of the citizens of the US don’t live in NYC, and yet the only time the “BIG SNOW STORM” makes the news is when it affects this very small geographic area. And no, I didn’t…
I live in Minnesota. This is pretty much what winter is like here. The only time “weather” is news is when it happens in New York (“OMG- It took, like 2 hours to get to LGA and Whole Foods is totally out of kale!”). Come back during the couple of months that aren’t like this- you’ll love it!
I have to assume it will be something like this. There must be some inverse rule: the more Jalops want a thing, the less likely it is that such a thing will happen. Right now I am lusting (in my heart!) after an Opel cum Buick and gravity itself is in question.
Tom- I wonder if anyone cares how a car drive anymore? What do your customers (not just of Porsche) ask for? Friends seem genuinely surprised that I wont buy a car without a couple of test-drives. Starting to see how the autonomous cars will win.
CP- These were overpriced and fragile when new, and as a used car this one is still too expensive. Even though it doesn’t say so in the ad, there are several dash warning lights on right now-trust me.
