Likely no. A computer monitor may draw anywhere from 5-80watts (the higher end for larger high res monitors). Putting that stress directly on a PC’s internal PSU / laptop charging brick could cause those parts to melt or explode.

Wireless will have trouble with video as 4k / 8k become the standard resolutions. We will definetly see more things go wireless, but there are inherent advantages to wires that will keep them around, especially if there are 1 or 2 one size does everything solutions.
