@Golgari: I haven't played those, but I do have the Epic Citadel demo. Quite impressive, to be sure, but have you seen the Metal Gear or Resident Evil demos? They are at least as good.

A few observations:
@dowingba: Haha, exactly.
@Golgari: I find the d-pad + stylus far more accurate for FPS's than a dual-analog setup. Also, I have an iPhone and have seen no game for it with better graphics than some of the stuff coming out for the 3DS - plus it's in full 3D. Also just an opinion :)
@Deunan: I much prefer the D-pad + Stylus control over a dual-analog setup for FPS'es, personally.
3G would be intriguing for hackers... imagine the free net access! However, I'm thinking this will debut at the $349 price point.
@dracosummoner: Love TV Tropes.
@Ken: Yeah, the tension between "converged" devices and single-purpose handhelds is certainly interesting. However, I think dedicated units like the 3DS will always do gaming better - whether or not the market receives it that way is another story. Thanks for your thoughts, it will be fun to see what happens.
@resvrgam: Classic
@Ken: As for iPod Touch, only the small model is cheaper.
@cavemangames: Sure, the apps are less expensive, but $500-$800 tablets and $700 phones with data plans are certainly pricier than the 3DS.
@Issun: Sorry, but we're consumers, not a charity for developers. If game prices are too high, I can and will buy used. Great games will still sell well new, and the prospect of them holding their value due to a strong demand for used copies will drive sales also.
@Gadriel: Wait, wait wait - BC2 has a singleplayer campaign?!? I must own it now!
@Wolfbullet: Man, I agree with you 100%. I was so excited for Call of Duty 2 when I got the PC Gamer issue announcing it - then I was crestfallen when the game was so dumbed down. Regenerating health, no quicksaves, worse multiplayer... just not as fun. I still liked it though, but after that the series was dead to…
Call of Duty 1, still the best one.
Opposing Force - greatest expansion of all time. No arguments please.
I am not a big fan of achievements, seeing as they are usually pointless. I do like the DKCR and Metroid Prime 3 concepts of giving you something to unlock for your efforts, but I usually don't care. My wife, on the other hand, spends hours trying to get the Steam achievements for Left 4 Dead.
New Vegas
@aTribeCalledWii: The call of Morrowind is ever-present for me. I don't think I'll ever not be playing that game.
