I had to read this with squinted eyes, since I am about to play ME2 and don't need spoilers. FWIW, ME1 blew me away and I'm on my second playthrough until I finally get ME2.

@two wheels are enough: Great stand-up bit. Makes the horses feel bad.

@vanillakokakola: Don't pay for wireless now if you're going to be in Ethernet range. It's faster, more secure, more reliable, and cheaper. I would also not get that sound card.

@Twyst3d: I bought the original DS at launch and it was a pretty good deal. $149, and still my favorite form factor for the system (didn't care for the smaller DS lite, but haven't tried the XL.) This time, I may wait it out.

You say it's "garbage" that Nintendo can price it how they want - but that's exactly how it works. If a lot of people will pay $249, then they can and should price it that way. Just wait for the thing to go on sale and we'll see how it sells. Worse comes to worse, we get an early $50 price drop for the holidays.

They should make a procedural crime drama based on this story. They always handle gaming so well.

@Shakespeare: Very true. But I also thought the iPad would flop because of its high price tag, and it sold like hotty mchotcakes. I guess I just think the average consumer splurges a little more than I am willing to.

The business side of me says this will sell like hotcakes, and Nintendo priced this right.

@Mr.Wake: Honestly, though I wanted to do NCR, Wild Card was pretty sweet. Taking out Mr. House, then telling the NCR to take a hike... pretty awesome.
