@Koztah: Here's a good one for any interested

@PSWii2008: Thanks for the info. Sounds like a lot of work to get the controller to run; I hope Team Meat patches built-in support for other controllers soon.

@MirrorForTheSun: It's an amazing platformer with brilliant level design and awesome 8-bit music. It's tough to beat and even tougher to win the time trials and 100% it. I'm pretty sure the name just references the spikes that look like VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV that throughout the game.

@Uncle Jesse: I heard there were some issues with the Steam version and non-360 controllers, so I'm going to have to see if those have been fixed. I have an older Logitech Rumblepad that I like quite a bit.

@zombieKLNcowboy: It is excellent. There is more nuance in the role-playing, the setting is arguably more exciting, the combat seems to have been tweaked and improved a bit, and there's an edge of dark humor there that straight-faced FO3 (which I loved) seems to lack. You will love New Vegas.

@Uncle Jesse: Crazy. I think part of my problems might be because my netbook only lets me hold a certain number of keys at once... I need to get a controller working.

@Coigleach: Yeah, and VVVVVV's physics (very little inertia, super-precise) are ingrained in my brain at this point after doing all the time trials for hours. I think it's just gonna take some time to get used to.

@Duuuuuuude: I only grabbed about 2 bandages, I'm a couple worlds in.

@Pray4Mojo: Someone get this guy a star to save me from clicking "promote" every time he posts. It's exhausting.

I started Super Meat Boy last night after getting hungry for platforming due to VVVVVV, DKCR, Gish, NSMB, and Braid rocking my world. It's pretty good, but I'm still getting the hang of meaty's inertia. Sometimes he misses a jump when I'm sure I should have hit it... other than that, it's pretty great so far.

@VincentGrey: I believe NV ends. Also, I enjoyed the moral gray areas in NV moreso than the cut-and-dry morality of FO3.

@mrClint: Cool site, bro. I would definitely help you if I spoke Hungarian! (Going to see Stryper next weekend... very excited.) Anyway, I hope everything works out for the best, I can tell you put a lot into that site.

@Trakata: Seriously, it's been a weak month. Best one yet.

@beanspeppin: If GTAIV is any indication, RDR will make top-of-the-line systems bow before its laggy unoptimized might.

Who says PC gaming doesn't work on the go? My netbook is awesome for indie games, slightly older FPS'es, and the like. Pretty cool to have a full gaming experience on a device that can last about 8 hours.

Does it have an option to turn off shadows to improve game performance?
