@l30n64: And usually no tax. That's almost 10% cheaper right there. (But this might not last for long.)

@Slagathorian: Save the trees and kill the children.: I'll need to give it another go then, because it bored me after a couple hours.
@Faren22: VVVVVV has no jump button. There are only movement keys and an action button that flips the gravity vertically. It's awesome.
Steam. Amazon. Nuff said.
@Slagathorian: Save the trees and kill the children.: Twilight Princess is better than Zelda 2 IMHO.
@Cursed Frogurt: It's not owned by Nintendo anymore, I believe it's run by Future, the same guys who own PC Gamer. It became infinitely better after they bought it, hence I picked it up on Amazon Magazines when it was on sale.
Oh, gaming mags, I'm gonna miss you. I still get PC Gamer and Nintendo Power though.
@I'm leaving a: I game quite a bit on my netbook. Half-Life 1&2, Jedi Knight series, Halo, tons of indie games and classics. It's pretty awesome to have a full PC gaming experience on a device that lasts 8-9 hours on the battery.
@ClaudioIphigenia: I know a lot of people were put off by The Silver Chair (that's the consensus I've heard anyway), but I found it pretty interesting. It's not epic like The Horse & His Boy or The Last Battle, but it's a pretty riveting adventure. Let us know what you think of it.
Got this trinket last night in VVVVVV. I don't know that I've ever been more proud of myself for a gaming accomplishment, even if it did take me 45 minutes and 500 lives...
@mrClint: Check out mobo/CPU combo deals, or Microcenter if you have one in the area. The Athlons and especially Phenoms are good affordable alternatives to the Core line. I grabbed a mobo + quad core Athlon II for about $90, got a decent deal on the RAM also when building my wife's gaming PC a few months ago.
Man, this guy was my favreite.
@Weirdwolf: How is TW11 on Wii? I just got a Motion+ and have been looking for a good game on it.
@Lynxinater: Yeah I'm sure the stretching can be bad. But I game mostly on the Wii so I'm used to it! ;-)
@Diyomaro: Yeah, actually I was not a fan of the Lite because of the smaller size. The original DS was perfect for my meaty hands. I'll probably try to grab an XL on the cheap off Craigslist once people start selling them to pick up a 3DS.
DS Phat was my favorite... though I'm still eyeing the XL as it seems to have that good old-fashioned heft to it. I like some meat on my gadgets' bones...
@Chard: I am not a vegetable: Picture's not working for me....
@Pojodin: Gawker doesn't like long links. There is a way to do it but I forget how.
