Been going on a retro kick, revisiting games of the 90's. Today's title: Mission Impossible for the N64. Looking back, it was a mediocre title in a lot of ways, but it did do a lot of things right. Namely, it wasn't just another shooter. You had to solve puzzles to get through areas, and stealth was a key factor.

@razzbarry: I can still hum all the tunes from memory. It was the first game I had, and the only game I had for a year. Probably logged 300 hours on it back in the system's heyday.

@carl-on-duty: Looking back, my favorite games for the system were Diddy Kong Racing, Donkey Kong 64, and Goldeneye. So yeah, that was a great team.

@seanmacm: It's one of the best Wii games I've played. Retains a retro gameplay feel while integrating improvements from series like Call of Duty. The multiplayer and online play are both excellent, and singleplayer in 007 Classic mode will challenge the most hardcore of players. Definitely worth a look if you have…

Played gobs of Diddy Kong Racing this weekend on the ol' 64. Muscle memory is insane - I remembered how to do everything without thinking twice about it, and I haven't touched this game in over 10 years. I also beat all the Silver Coin Challenges I tried on the first attempt. The TT challenges are very unforgiving…
