All of our Civics/Accords/CRV - 2000, 2002, 2005, 2008, 2015 were purchased at invoice, all but one from the same dealer. Different now, but wasn’t back then.

My brother had a Vega. Enuf said. I wish this topic was about 60’s cars so I could talk about my mon’s 1962 Rambler American station wagon, so I won’t.
I have 10 payments left on a 2019 Subaru Forester Premium. Carvana offered to buyout my lease and pay me $12,000.
Yep. In Texas you pay sales tax on the entire cost of the vehicle. Some manufacturers offer tax credits to help offset this. When I leased my 2019 Forester, I traded my 2016 Outback to get the sales tax credit, then the dealer wrote me a check for what they bought my Outback for.
Never had a front plate on my Vette in Texas and vowed to sell it if I ever got stopped. Never did but kept it under my seat. The thought having it on reminds me of those stupid ass black frames Carmax bolts to the front end of every Vette they have for sale.
Nothing from Amica.
Most comfortable car I ever owned was my 2014 ES350. Miss that car. Wife has a 2017 RX350 and except for that useless dash mounted backup camera due to horrible glare, it’s a great highway cruiser. Test drove an X3 and while it is a terrific road machine it’s not for me. To each his/her own.
Bought my dream car - Corvette- in 2012, traded it for a Lexus ES350 in 2014 and traded that for a Subaru Outback in 2016. Going back to a vette in the fall. Of all these I miss the Lexus the most.
Bought a 2016 Outback Limited on 12/31/15 from a new Subaru dealer apparently trying to hit first year sales targets to qualify for Subaru USA financial incentives. MSRP was $35,037 and I paid $29,037. The best the other established Subaru dealers in town would do is $3k off MSRP.
Couldn’t find a 6 so went with the 4 and was not disappointed - don’t tow, so not an issue. Ended up with a Limited with eyesight. I previously owned a Forester which suffered from severe road noise. The Outback is much quieter than I imagined - and I used to drive a Lexus.
