I do the exact same with 'To Pimp a butterfly'. But i don't think it's Kendrick drinking his own kool-aid or whatever. I don't think it's boring, i just think it's waaaaaay to dense. The album in it's entirety is too much to listen to all at once. I could listen to 'Good Kid' all day in comparison.

I love this album. It does remind me of a Dre'd up version of 'To Pimp a Butterfly' though. Not so much in theme or subject mater, just in intensity and its dense lyricism.

I totally agree. In s1 didn't they allude that a large part of their high school relationship was about escaping the world they were raised in. It's what so heartbreaking because Angela really thought they had both 'made it out' so to speak.

Does Tommy's case being dismissed with prejudice or whatever make all the evidence collected in that report in admirable against Ghost now? Do they have to start from scratch to take James down? Above True Detective S2, no doubt. Season 1 though? I mean i'm really loving Mr Robot, and its definitely my favourite show out right now, butTrue Detective s1 was fucking bananas.
