What happen to the Lordstown Motors thing that was happening?  Is that not a thing anymore? I thought they were making mail trucks or garbage trucks or something.

Neutral: Neither.

Yeah, when I first saw the new Ford Ranger on the road, I was like WTF that is huge and seems just as big as the prior gen F150.

Due to unusual circumstances, the only chance we got to photograph the car was in the dark. (Sorry!) But it did fit a Christmas tree:

That still costs you money, but you’ve already paid it.

“Hi, I owe 27k on my car, and that’s too expensive! I’d like to buy a car for $28k to lower my payment.”

Cleveland proper isn’t so bad (minus the snow of course) but I can’t image having to live IN East Cleveland for any amount of time for any reason. It’s scary enough during the day, nighttime has to be a nightmare. Less than 1% of all police departments are SO BAD that they FBI has to step in to help, East Cleveland is

I spent 4 winter months in East Cleveland for my last job. I kept being told of some mythical place called “Detroit” that was actually worse but I couldn’t believe it. There’s no way a city exists that’s worse than Cleveland in winter.

lol.

I bought a TJ when I lived in the city. Later my wife started driving it. Steel bumpers and rock sliders will protect it from a lot. My wife can park so she never hit anyone but quite a few people bumped her. A few bumpers were punctured by the D-ring mounts on the front bumper, quite a bit of paint transfer on the

I was once in a similar situation to this person. I bought a Jeep Wrangler TJ. That was the current model at the time. I don’t know if a more current model would look as cool with some dings or not. Also, at the time, having high-mounted all-steel bumpers was advantageous in parking-by-braille situations.

Who is walking into a Cadillac dealership and saying “I want a car that is better on the track”???  If you want something to play on the track with there are a TON of options.  I feel like Cadillac is wasting money catering to customers that are not there.

Life is too short to keep a car for the long run.

This completely. I had a 428 that was an absolute blast to drive but it had more than one unscheduled trip to the dealership. (In one instance the horn stopped working. How does a horn fail?).

We still have two BMWs but I went (daily) BMW -> Acura -> Toyota. It’s far from an appliance, but I too got tired of the repair bills.

I’m 100% with you, but I bet the salient bits are bin parts. Switches from a SAAB, Fiat wheels, seats from a derelict theater, that kind of thing. Figure out what crosses over and then you’re only stuck with the bespoke items like panels and light lenses.  And even those rear lights look like they came off a 70s VW

I understand the motor is Ford and that is fine. I’m talking about when the window switch stops working or you need a AC line or a tail light gets cracked. You cannot go to Pep Boys and get these items like you could a 95 Explorer. Thinks go wrong on cars unrelated to the powertrain.

I love everything about this video.

Kristen, you are a brave person to risk tetanus by being anywhere in the vicinity of David Tracy.
