Same here – and I’d bet a percentage nearing 100% of those people don’t actually understand what that really means. All they see is a monthly payment they think they can afford, and off we go in a brand new car!

The number that surprises me in this article is that only one third of people are rolling over deft from a previous car loan.  I thought that would be much much higher.

Except for the fact that the V70R was not sold in this country with a manual, I would agree. You can certainly swap one in if you want, or look for the more rare T5 Manual which will be just as fast without the not-too-sturdy, heavy AWD system.  The 850R was not sold with a manual in the US either.
