I mean, to be fair Ballaban, there really was not much time left to make modification after they performed the recall repairs.

The car doesn't make sense to anyone because it doesn't exist. The presale figures are based on an idea with feel-good promises of saving the environment and creating much-needed American jobs. Promises that are damn near impossible to move forward with, as we've seen with literally years of missed deadlines. Elio…
You can go ahead and start speaking like a caveman. This *is* Jalopnik, after all.
You wrote about people who commute with minivans. This would be an unwise purchasing decision if 99 percent of trips taken don't take advantage of the car's primary purpose, which is people moving. That's like saying the Elio's primary market is people who drive cement trucks to the office. Clearly the car is unsuited…
"Most states have agreed to make an exception to their laws so you don't actually need a helmet."
So their market is people who have made bad purchasing decisions?

That alone is about $350 if they need adjusting, and they usually do. You'll…
I put just under 18,000 miles on my Accord Sport last year... fantastic car. Fun to drive, easily seats 5, can load a ton of stuff, and looks beautiful. I just love this car.

I had written down directions (there's no GPS in this car) to New Jersey's Pine Barrens. Climate change means there are more and more tree-killing beetles down there, and I wanted to see the pines before they're gone.
It isn't. The 1.0 was driven mainly on the highway, the ST stayed pretty much on back roads, with a lot of right foot down and high rev shifting. It might also have been a bit of an exaggeration on my part.

Jay Leno's Garage. Throw your opinion of his comedy aside. He is a great gearhead, and has some of the most interesting cars on. Like a superluxurious steam car.
