Buy a Civic Sport, you can get that in an automatic.  It’s close enough for people who don’t know how to drive stick or don’t want to take the time to learn.

I’ll throw the Civic Si out there. New is $30k ish and you can get a certifed used one for mid $20k range. Fun, great shifting, 4dr or 2dr options (2dr used only) and cheap to own. I think it’s a great option for a super fun sporty daily driver that won’t break the bank.

I’m in Ohio and most of the Tesla drivers are Liberals with money to burn that want to save the planet.  I would never even think of maga people driving an electric car when their leader hate’s EVs and wants to eliminate all programs that support them.  I feel that would be against the grain of most maga diehards.

Any Jeep that is modified to the point that it’s useless for most things. Huge wheels that would be terrible offroad. Suspension so tall it would be a terrible daily driver. So ugly that it’s not a show car. Why did you spend $30k making your Jeep terrible and useless?

I have never seen a Tesla and thought MAGA, at least around me it’s the total opposite. Also with the car driving itself they seem to drive better than the average driver thats sitting half on the shoulder because they are also looking at their phone the entire time.

Save yourself a few grand and go with whatever CPO Crosstrek you like. Normally you can find them 1-2 years old with 5-10k on them that have been used by the dealer service department as service loaners and they are normally in almost new condition. I had one and hauled stuff many times and it worked great.  Full sheets of plywood and drywall fit perfect with the gate at half lock.  Just I couldn’t put 2k lbs of gravel in it for 2 4wheelers but not everyone needs a huge truck.  I think the solutions they have make the smaller bed very useful 

My favorite part was when I get where I’m going I just hit the start stop button to shut the car off and it also puts it in Park.  Loved that little damn truck!

I had a Maverick for almost 5,000 miles (until someone hit it, RIP) and never had an issue with the shifter.  Never shifted into Park on accident.  I think you’re trying to make a problem out of sometime that everyone gets used in in less than a day.

I can’t get past that console/wall in the middle.  It’s just such a terrible idea.  And yes I have driven them and after living with one for a few weeks I still stand by this being an interior design I can’t get over.  It was a great car to drive though, I just couldn;t own one because of this.

Look like an awesome deal!  With the new infotainment system running off Google, does the car still have Apple Car Play? I know some cars have gone away from it with the addition of Android Automotive, hopefully Honda did not.
