You clearly have not seen the demographics for the people buying these cars then. Just because YOU don’t have kids to put in the back doesn’t mean 75% of the people buying these don’t either. If you want to “go back to basics” then buy an older one and build your rally car.  Subaru has to cater the people buying these…

This bike is amazing! Unfortunately I am not in the income bracket that would be able to buy one of these and thrash it on the trail without stopping every few feet to make sure I didn’t scratch something lol.   

This is something you can get anyone one and go which is a great thing.  it might be a fun addition just to have something for the wife to hop on or when the kids get old enough  to start learning.  ALSO this will be brag worthy down at the track as a pit bike.

What is a reasonable top speed? Can it hang with 35mph traffic? 45mph traffic? I’ve spend $1800 on way dumber crap than this, I think I need one.

How do you think the aftermarket will support this? Is it something practical for a 200lb person to ride  around town even if there is some elevation chance?  Are the brakes GOOD ENOUGH to be safe?  Is it really as fun as it looks?!?

There are some parking garages in Dubai that have hundreds of cars just rotting away.  Seems like a bigger time capsule than this.

Porsche had a “Liquid Metal” silver on the 918 that was a $63k option.  Or they would paint it whatever color you would think of for $100k.
