When I worked at Porsche I saw a customer come in wanting a new 911R and then agreed to buy a Panamera Turbo Exclusive then sell it back at $100k loss so they could sell it as a used car just to get his hands on a new 911R. So he paid $100k over sticker without having to show that on paper. The customer was so happy

The seats all started black but for some reason the centers did not age well and between wear and sun they have all done to this weird grey/green color. Nothing a little fabric dye couldn’t fix I guess.

Why does it have to be a SUV to be practical?  All he said was AWD which doesn’t mean it has to be an SUV.

I still don’t get investing time and money into getting an engine and drivetrain running just so you can get it home and rip it out.  I love your projects, but this one seems wasteful, even for the clicks!!

This has been on eBay for YEARS! It’s a great build (minus all the chrome) but they are asking double what a reasonable person would consider paying for this. I dig it, but only for like $12-$15k

I don’t live in a major metro and I hate tea, but I would still consider one of these.

I don’t know about anyone else but I’ve never even heard of Williamsburg Brooklyn but now I really want to live there.

I’m ok with them trying to copy some of the Accord design language, the current generation is an amazing car.  Exterior, interior, and the 2.0t engine, all great things to aspire be.

Slow like an avalanche!

Some of my favorite people I ride with are doctors.  They know the dangers and see the damage but still ride.  Live your life.

Why waste to much time and energy getting the powertrain working again just so you can rip it all out when you get home and convert it to electric?  I love your projects but this one seems like a lot of extra effort.

Does Honda have to stop making the Black edition now??

What’s the top speed and acceleration on the Trail vs the Grom? Looks like the Trail weighs more and with the bigger wheels I’m sure it’s not as quick.  Would be interested in seeing a comparison of the two

As a second car this is really perfect.  I am in Ohio and don’t feel like I need AWD.  Say what you want, it’s not that important for a commuter unless your have to drive through the forest to get to work.  I have an Atlas for road trips so for my 30 mile commute this may be perfect.  We will see how the lease deals

Same, I have driven the X and S before and it’s great for straight line pulls to throw you in the back of your seat but neither of them had an interior that I wanted to spend a lot of time in.  The Mach-e seems more like a normal car inside.  The 3 and Y are way too basic inside for me, but that’s just my opinion

I have a dog named Laredo and I will put together a counsel to get it changed again because my dog is offended.....

I only drove 32ish miles a day so for me it’s a great option that I wouldn’t even have to plug in every day. The Honda Clarity would be perfect too but the Mach-e just looks so much better and I’m sure isn’t as boring to drive than the Honda

I guess when I’m looking at this as a commuter I don’t really care about the charging network since I will be using it for commuting and using my Atlas for any road trips. I get the lack of sizable network if this is going to be your only vehicle and you regularly drive long distances. As a commuter it’s not really a

MSRP for the cheapest models is less than a thousand dollars different.  If you’re looking to spend $40k+ on a car you’re not losing sleep over a few hundred dollars

Bradley, have you driven a Mustang Mach-e yet? When you’re getting into a $50k EV now the Mach-e has to be in the conversation right?  Even with it being brand new I think I would strongly consider it over a Y for a lot of reasons including dealer network (for service) and the nice screen above the steering wheel.
