Did it? The last episode I watched was the end of Season Two. Once they killed "her" {Spoiler}, and the creators left, I just didn't see the point of it anymore. Seemed to become more of a vanity project for Anson Mount than anything.

Anybody is better than Al Madrigal. Holy crap. For me, simply the UNfunniest correspondent they ever had. Of course, I liked Kristen Schaal until I realized her entire act was "hey I look goofy". Admittedly, I have to blame an ill-cast role on 30 ROCK for some of my dislike of her. Fuck Hazel.
Hey You….nice one.
Ah gotcha. I can understand that. But looking at the fact that she did that kind of stuff for decades, I think that if your theory is correct, she might have been waiting to bank enough savings to leave a career she was very successful in. But it's totally possible, either way.
You're….critiquing her for being successful at overcoming her personal fears…?
Run.
HOORAY FOR WOMAN!
200 bootleg live shows? I WANT TO GO TO THERE.
Completely unsubstantiated theory and just a guess? I'd say she got sick (cancer)? Just a total guess.
The Five Doctors hook you? ;)
The Superfriends on Saturday Mornings, DOCTOR WHO on PBS Saturday evenings, GI JOE, HE-MAN, and TRANSFORMERS on weekday evenings. And The A-Team, Knight Rider, and Dukes of Hazzard for primetime. Later, it was QUANTUM LEAP.
HAHAHA!! Wow, maybe you should move from the Middle East and find a state in the United States that doesn't do any of that. Because they exist and if you choose not to live in them is your choice. And just because you want to be a victim doesn't change the facts that the world is evolving more and more. Is it perfect?…
Shades of Verna and Jack on 30 ROCK…. "Verna, stop rubbing my palm with your middle finger. This is a business transaction."
And before that, it was Richard Pryor/Chevy Chase with the "Dead Honkey" sketch. Doesn't matter. Overly-PC knee-jerk censorship will never truly eliminate classic legendary comedy.
Agreed. I'm sure they will post/tweet some bullshit half-ass compilation of her work. But god forbid anyone be able to check her stuff out on YouTube and the like. NBC really is a bag of dicks.
I know. I wish things like that were more readily available to post to social media. It would be great to show that video off for the younger crowd who doesn't know how classy and amazingly talented she truly was. But thanks to corporate "rights" and all the rest, there nothing on YouTube or anywhere I can find. NBC…
While I knew her amazingly loud voice and insane talent from the SNL days, it was 30 ROCK as Jenna's mother Verna that reminded me how amazingly funny she was. Now she and Phil Hartman can dance together for eternity.
Yes, if you think this is an actual "problem" versus the things I listed, then you are…indeed…very privileged in your life. Another word would be "self-absorbed".
"Privileged"? LMAO! Being offended over a cartoon is the epitome of First World Problem privileges. This isn't an AIDS epidemic in Africa or starving children. Those are actual problems. This is a bored society of keyboard activists yearning for a "cause".
I know. People come up with various and arbitrary reasons to feel offended all the time. Kind of my point. ;)
