That's awesome that he recognizes what we all saw. That actually makes me like him more, knowing he is aware of his misses as much as his hits. Cool-cool, thanks for posting that! :)

I would say that, after all this time and all the press and praise heaped on him and the show, that some of the hype has started to get to Jon. He's only human. And after you spend a decade being told you're the King, you start to believe it. Also, the bar was set so high during the Bush Era shows that, without a…
Dude, there's tons of tranny videos out there on the net….
To a point, I would agree. And old interviews with Jon Stewart says he agrees (look up the Paley Center interviews from, I believe, around 2008). But even still, in all fairness, I have a hard time believing even Stewart doesn't do the same at times. Not every single topic can be that important to him.
Totally! If Republican Propaganda is FAUX News and Democrat Propaganda is MSNBC, then CNN is "Brick" from Anchorman… ;)
Man, these days, politicians saying they're "Republican" or "Democrat" is liking asking them what they like better, Coke or Pepsi. It's still all cola to most of them. The distinction is for branding purposes.
I'm thinking it's back-office corporate politics that even Stewart isn't immune to. Let's face it: as much as we look up to Jon to punch the bad guys when the time comes, he sometimes goes overboard with own agenda. I'm one of the most Left-leaning guys out there. But even I get a little too put off by hints of…
Agreed and that being said, it was HUGELY disappointing that Stewart cowered from Rumsfeld. I don't know if he was worried the psycho would walk out during the interview, but he handled that greedy monster with kid gloves.
Not to defend Bill….cause fuck that guy…but I think Stewart is one of those positions with that man, in particular, where he sees the difference between a guy who shills his channel for lots of money (but doesn't really believe half of what he says) and a true, unrepentant Teaparty sociopath like Hannity and his ilk.…
Exactly. I doubt NBC realized that Stewart would actually insist on genuine, real journalism versus "NBC's Daily Show with Jon Stewart". They just thought they could buy the "hip, cool thing" and then sanitize it down to Corporate PR standards like they do everything on their channel.
Yes, you're absolutely right. Got that mixed up. Still, my point is that she came before Felicia Hardy/Black Cat at Marvel.
Nice!! Forgot about 2099. Bring him on!
This possible trainwreck vs the definite trainwreck of the Sinister Six? I say go all in and even get Nicholas Hammond to cameo (look it up!)
Somewhere around the late 60's….
The honest answer? Corporate Mentality: "Uh….AVENGERS!!" The content is irrelevant to them. They just look at box office receipts, glance at the most basic one-word framework label they think sums up why people are buying tickets ("ensemble") and then just try to emulate that with whatever property they have available…

LOL!!! Ah yes, the last resort. When backed into a corner, feeling victimized by opposing opinions and not being taken at all seriously, the Raging Rove goes for the low-hanging fruit: the personal attacks. Poor little Rove. I know it's hard to distinguish between your desperate need for internet validation from…
I don't know, you would have to ask my friends and family. I don't hang out at comic shops and wildly curse at strangers on the internet when they don't like superhero comic books. But I like poker, smoking weed, and my wife says I can dance. Does that count?
LMAO!! Yes, yes, more "nuh-uh you are". Your wit is stellar. I bet you are a class favorite.
LOL! Like I've told others, I'm taken. Sorry dear. ;)
