Agreed. But you're talking the majority of all Big Two decisions since the late 90's or earlier.

But comic storylines are written and determined a year in advance, at least. I think the proof will come with what is (or isn't) coming up for the publication lines.

As a forty year old dude who DOESN'T still read comics, comics can blow me. They've become nothing more than marketing pamphlets for alternate media and corporate whims. There's more originality in the cinematic universe than in the last five years of Marvel and DC combined.

They could have done so much with Toofer. But it's like, someone suddenly discovered Lutz was sitting there. And after that, Toof just got sidelined for Lutz's decline into apathy. Not to say JD Lutz isn't a funny guy. But his stuff only worked for me in small doses. They sometime went to the well with him too much.
