Without The vault i wouldn't have enjoyed Fallout 3 as much as i could of, would never have played fallout 1 and 2, and would still be in the dark about the fallout universe.

@The Lab: You are confusing genetic modification with genetic manipulation. Breeding certain characteristics in an animal or plant that has naturally occured there but is beneficial to either the species or humans is not the same as inserting certain characteristics that did not nor ever would occur in that species.
