Interesting article, but I’m still mad about that Metroid emulator article to care.

I find it hard to believe that this is Zone’s best-known porn work, considering that his original character Zone-tan is in at least one stage background in Skullgirls, and is also the source of one of Squigly's colors.

That’s disgusting, what sites should I avoid to make sure I don’t see it?

I’m sure I’m being uncharitable, but it’s hard for me to read ‘I’m a high skill player who hates the idea of skill-based matchmaking’ as anything other than ‘the game is only fun for me if I can tell myself I’m making it not fun for someone else’.

The issue in this case was Sony saying that First Party games would be free, then releasing information that Horizon: Forbidden West was going to require buying a special version to get both PS4 and PS5 versions with no option to upgrade otherwise.  Then, when called out on this not matching what they said in the past

However, if Sony didn’t charge this fee, then what would be the point in anyone ever buying the PS5 version of a game?

Nintendo actually used to be better with this. GameCube games played on Wii, then Wii games on Wii U, you could transfer your eShop games for a small fee to Wii U as well.

I think Sony’s Playstation division honestly tries, but is just generally bad because Sony as a whole is fucking terrible.

I think Nintendo honestly knows you’ll pay whatever for your hit of nostalgia, and sincerely doesn’t give a fuck.

Agreed but Sony should give more leeway until supply of the ps5 increases. Discounted ps plus or some other reward for fans who upgrade.

Luke doesn’t really know our local news site differences since he’s in Australia, to be fair. Clickbait still stands on its own.

This headline is Clickbait. “Fox News” and a local Fox affiliate are substantially two different things in our lexicon. C'mon.

I sympathize; I think Destiny has kind of a weird ‘gap’ where at first it feels kind of overwhelming, then it seems like there’s actually not a lot of content to engage with, and then you kind of find your sweet spot (assuming you stick with it through those first two stages). I totally understand why someone wouldn’t

Go watch Star Wars without the music and see if you still feel the same way about movie soundtracks.

While I agree with this in principle, in practice, that seems to be true of 90% of games out there today. Tutorials are now 20 hours longs.

The first campaign has the most simple enemy designs and tactics required. It’s also shorter (which impacts tactics due to aging) and easier than the rest. And it’s incredibly unlikely you saw more than 30-40% of the core abilities, let alone the wacky stuff, during that campaign.

As someone who just played and finished Death Stranding in the past week, he’s not wrong about the new things changing the way the game is played (I’d have certainly been abusing the rib stabilizer), but what I can say conclusively is that’s not a bad thing. Even though I personally enjoyed the challenge of navigating

Clicks, baby

Naw I am with you on this. 3 and 4 just don’t do it for me. They go way to over the top. Unfortunately everyone else seemed happy with that.

“Look at the new Saints Row in action!”

I was one of the few who highly disliked Saints Row 3 and 4( I felt robbed and that regret you feel after buying something you hate) and wanted a return to SR2 crime, comical to an extent and a slight undertone of Robocop futuristic humor and feel. This just doesn’t look appealing and remind me of the game that was
