Both of your points are what I came to say, it’s definitely extra work to not use mirror herb technique now! And clodsire is much higher attack than SPA so 100% earthquake is the way to go

They talk about that being the only way to get Clodsire to learn recover, that is breeding which you can still do, but is kinda rendered moot cuz you can just use the mirror herb technique now with the clodsire you already have. It’s how I got belly drum iron hands LOL

The seasonal activity is “free” if you have bought it on one system, I bought it on PC so I can use it on Stadia and PS5 though I have no DLC on those platforms.

If you have a solid enough internet connection and access to a laptop, play it on Stadia as it is free. It’s not ideal, but I did it at work today to avoid spoilers LOL

You literally don’t have to do any of this. Just playing normally (catching pokemon I wanted, leveling up my team, doing a few side quests and Pokedex entries) and you progress fine. I imagine the entire game is sub 20-25 hours if you just do the main stuff, which is very normal for a Pokemon game. 

At the beginning of 2020...hmmm...wasn’t there something that began just before that and happened around then?? :shrug: give them a break, there are delays everywhere in the industry, including Movie and Television too.

They announced it two years ago, and were aiming to have it out early 2020, and we kind of had a global pandemic raging for the last two years, that has put a hamper on development of practically every fricking game coming out right now. It also looks to be the most ambitious of the Star Wars lego…

But on the vast majority of these, it’s nothing but some better frames on the PS5 version, which should be included by default anyway by playing the PS4 version on the PS5 (which most of the time it is, but that just shows there is no point in getting the PS5 version since developers, for the most part, change nothing…

You shouldn’t judge it on that, it’s honestly more about gameplay and storytelling. It’s meant to evoke pop-up children’s books, and it’s a very small team from what I know so I can forgive cutting corners in the graphical/style department.
