for healthy ppl maybe but with certain chronic illnesses, ALLL those things can be explained away. for example, I get weight fluctuations and bloating, chronic pain including the kind w pregnancy, irregular periods, and a family history of prematurity and low birth weight (I was 4lbs and my mom gained like 10

.

Ok, this is only tangenitally related, but can anyone over 30 lmk when I need to start treating my skin like its aging? I’m 24, been using rx retinoids since 21, have good genes, but I’ve started seeing fine forehead lines on occasion (always in different places) and i can’t figure out if they’re just a side effect of

“If you’re right on the edge of the state you’ve got to go 500 miles just to get to St. Louis, and you have to make arrangements.”

“is like saying you’re allergic to gluten: it’s an excuse to be a dick.”

try betabrand. Out of my usual budget but i’ve heard great things so I’ve been saving up for a few pairs bc it’d be soooo worth it for a pant I can wear to gigs AND legit do yoga in before call times without changing out of.

No imagination needed

is it bad that my objection to trying these kind of nails isn't so much interference with my job (musician, and boyyyy would it ever interfere) so much as it is concern w how I could j/o 👀

I think it's mostly really overdone - if you want it to look like natural everyday shadowing, the contour line shouldn't be more than 2 inches from your temple, not down to your mouth, and never with any orange-tintend brown (though I'm not judging on this tutorial, stage makeup isn't exactly out of place at fests)

all good points, but tbh as someone whose natural style has been Texan-witch-by-way-of-free-people-ad since before I knew what fashion was, I'm shamefully glad to not be the odd one out now, or at least for however long every year "festival season" is

I made it a week around california last month with a little less than this, though it was spread leisurely around one half of a carry on rollercase mostly. Tip to fellow chronically ill or disabled travelers: no matter how light you pack, bring as large of a rolling bag as airlines allow for carryon, because I promise

I dont get it either, but then again I was raised Methodist and now sometimes scope out evangelical Lutheranism, and if you show up to either of those wearing a nice skirt or a blazer you will get weird looks for being overdressed, so

Great piece! I’ve lived 18 years in southwest Missouri and 6 in northwest Arkansas, so the Ozarks either way you cut it, and I probably won’t be done with school here for another 3. It is hard to reconcile being queer, disabled, female, etc but I’ve always loved it here and the grand total of 1 summer I lived in

OH and old bay in mashed potatoes or, back before the celiac diagnosis, old bay in ramen. like, 2-3 tablespoons worth to one packet of ramen, at least a few times a week. this maybe is par for the course for ppl from maine or wherever, but I'm from Arkansas, so...

Buttered toast with salt - usually, cinnamon raisin toast with sea salt.

I have honest to God untreated body dysmorphia, so whatever, but I think I look average/kinda pretty in the mirror. However! I still fixate on things, and any view of me that I'm not used to seeing (video, photo, unmirrored selfies, etc) will give me a full on panic attack and causes me to spend the next 6 hours holed

hahah yep, teens. no sad early 20-somethings (who used a boy band as a fun distraction from real world bs) over at my house who went to make a damn drink to deal and found the only clean glass left was a novelty zayn party cup because today is that much of an awful cosmic joke.....nope....

I have a genetic disorder that has multiple complications that make me drop weight sometimes (and I'm naturally on the small side of average to begin with), and if I never hear another nurse at my dr appts joke about my too dizzy to prepare food/too naseuous to eat weight loss plan it'll be too soon

ik you probably weren't looking for a serious answer, but a lot of brines/marinades/spice blends can have wheat protein in them as a thickener (or so I learned after a beautiful thanksgiving weekend 2012 spent in the ER because no one checked our turkey :') ah, memories)

this is a huge reason why, despite being a 50/50 preference bisexual, I don't see myself ever being in a long term relationship ship with a dude. "well if you like guys wouldnt it be easier to-" NO, NO IT WOULDNT, BECAUSE THEY GASLIGHT US AT EVERY TURN and I would so much rather deal with institutional homophobia than
