So just like for LeafDriverSteve and WA, vinrcl.safercar.gov said CA is not included in the recall for my 03 Element. Not true. I called Honda at this number: 800 999 1009 and they confirmed I am eligible for the recall. Don't believe the info on vinrcl.safercar.gov.

Not to worry. California was also not listed but I called Honda and they said that it is. Must be incomplete info on the vinrcl.safercar.gov site. Call this number: 1-800-999-1009 and ask about your state. I bet you are covered.

You are missing a step in the molding process. The "plug" is like a mold to make a mold. The final molds will be made off of the plug and then the actual parts will be made in those molds.
