I've never understood why people have such issues with the Caps Lock key. It comes in handy for me all the time. And no, I don't scream in emails.

My gmail stalls all the time — but I think it's my network at work. Funny though, because our Exchange is up all the time.

Logitech G5 - super best gaming mouse ever

that's funny, I'm running FF2 and I can see a difference in the picture above. Now how does that work?

ugh, I'm on browser overload man. I'm quite happy with my FF2 believe it or not.

Did they get rid of that dumb traffic cone icon?

    VOTE: Outlook 2007

My new version of iTunes is called DRM-less tunes from Amazon and Foobar2000.

Pfft - I just don't trust weather forecasts at all, no matter how cute or time-saving they may appear. The real simple answer is: always carry an umbrella in your bag and your car.

I know we just had a be-nice-in-your-comments post by Gina, but I'm going to assume that if you're brave enough to post your desktop then you're just opening yourself for a salvo. So here we go:

@Kuroyume: It's not a work issue for me. If you're at work I believe you should be working (or at least looking like you are), and I assume they log the addresses you're visiting real time anyway so that 'history' is moot.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about, but I will say the feed links look fine :)

I do like LH's approach to moderating comments, it sure weeds out the 6 year-olds who tend to frequent places like Fark. On the other hand, the privilege can be taken a bit too far. I was banned from Gizmodo because I snickered when the editors called themselves journalists. In that case, the defensive banning

Hmm I don't see my fave feature on the vote: being able to drag a tab out into its own window. I've cried for years that FF should do this.

I think I'm late to this thread (too many feeds!), but if anyone's interested, I wrote a little macro for Outlook that warns me before sending if my subject is blank. Let me know and I'll paste the code in for you.

I guess I'm lucky running Vista because the built-in Start Menu Search does everything I want it to. I'm a firm believer in minimizing the number of programs on my comp. Sure, this guy may only take 10 MB, but if you insist on replacing Windows' defrag, Calculator, Notepad, Search, Explorer, and File Copy

This looks like a great program for micro-managers. "Billy, I have here that you were going to get coffee for 3.5 minutes. You in fact got tea. What's going on here?"

I third the high thread count sheets comment. They're usually more expensive, but as with all things in life, you get what you pay for (*gasp* did I just say that at Lifehacker?). You always find 400+ thread count sheets on sale somewhere.

I hate to be a grump, but...I don't get these desktop posts. Somebody put a dock and a bunch of useless real-time technical information on their desktop.
