Woo there are some grumpy folks here this morning. I actually thought it was funny. I don't see any of those in the video getting caught as spam. I for one am going to use the "I don't know quite how to say this" when I tell someone I want to see a movie at 8 PM.

I won't leave a rude ghetto comment. I'll instead suggest that you save a buck a use a paper clip. Or if you don't want to buy a paper clip, maybe you could pull some copper wire out of your wall, cut it, and bend it into the appropriate shape.

Ehm...I thought underlined letters was on by default in XP? Or maybe I turned it on so long ago I forgot it was off by default.

'The Stranger' and 'Picture of Dorian Gray.' They taught me that any philosophy you subscribe to eventually becomes nonsense when followed to its extreme.

Paid to check emails at home? Ha, what is this, Europe? No but seriously, I kid the 38-hour-week countries.

    *Pats you on the back*

I'll tell you what's killing me, is FF3's damn cookie bug. Every time I close my browser all my passwords are wiped out and I have to log in to all these sites again.

We've been doing this since I was a kid, but I always questioned it. The summer/winter direction may work in a large room, like an A-frame type two-story living room. But if the fan is in a typical small bedroom, what difference does it make? A breeze in any direction is enough to distribute the air in a small room.

@MercuryPDX: I think they're just having a bit of fun.

@drewls: Ha! I thought the exact same thing.

I'm not sure I boot enough to need this even if it did work. The times I do boot up from cold are few and far between.

@battra92: I couldn't agree more. I too think only professionals should be allowed to use specific types of equipment. For instance, I don't like hearing people practice guitar, so we should only sell guitars to people who have been trained in Musical Composition. And only NASCAR drivers should be allowed to drive

I'm going to throw in a little statistical geekology here and say that, finally, this is the most logical statement I've come across in an article that compares software or hardware speed:

I'm glad Money made it. It tooks weeks for me to learn the ins and outs but it was worth it. Keeping track of finances and spending habits isn't easy, so I don't expect the software I use to be elementary. The set-up time was well worth it.

    VOTE: Microsoft Money

With all this excitement around a browser, I hope it does my dishes after I install it.

Very nice article! HTG never ceases to amaze me. But I think a couple things are blown out of proportion and only add to Vista Hate:

They need a Wikipedia article on all the people that didn't know about it, cuz I didn't either.
