I've been using a red LED lighted pen for awhile. It's a perfect companion for those long 30-minute bulb exposures to photograph star trails. Well, actually beer is a perfect companion for that — a lighted pen just makes life easier.

I was in love with Pandora for a couple months but found my music just kept repeating. I did find some excellent new music during those two months tho.
That's pretty sweet. Now if it only worked for a pizza joint that I'd actually eat from, it'd be perfect!
I've been using a...er..."test" version of Ultimate for a while now, and this is a great opportunity to show some love to MS. For all its monopolistic faults, Microsoft does build some pretty sweet software.
Having the same name as a b-list celebrity is awesome for anonymity. Anyone searching for me on Google would have to wade through tons of irrelevant search results first.
Oh sorry, speed as in speed. Then FF wins. See, FF makes my day go so fast I don't even read entire articles before posting.
Not sure why everyone is mentioning FireFox and speed in the same breath. I'm a 'Fox loyalist through and through, but I have to admit that IE loads much faster. Running FF on a thumb drive at work (IT lockdown) is excruciating sometimes.
I'm actually quite happy with Vista's look when turned black. I used WindowBlinds back in my XP days and I didn't find it stable at all. Maybe it depended on the individual theme, but I always felt like I was teetering on the edge of BSOD using that program.
I'm a moron. I came in here wondering why'd I'd want Google in portrait mode on my widescreen monitor.
Not a bad idea, but make sure you've got a higher interest rate on the debt than what you could earn in your savings account throughout the 30-day billing cycle. Probably not an issue if you're paying down a credit card, but consider a zero- or- low interest rate loan.
Sort of begs the question: if something is on your C list, why are you subscribing to it?
Yea but, that's just London.
The Vista Start Menu search and the Quick Launch numbers shortcut are the greatest additions to Windows ever. I love being able to hit Win, type the first couple of letters of any program, hit Enter, I'm off to the races. That trick alone is why I don't understand all the Vista hate in the world.
@Deprong Mori: I used to do the t-shirt-on-a-hanger trick too. But I realized while wearing the shirt that I had weird little bumps sticking up near my shoulders where the shirt hung on the hanger.
@jfournier: Agreed...I've never actually used the concatenate function.
It's amazing what items can fall into fashion trends. I spent about $2 on a notebook for photography. It comes complete with a cover, and paper inside. Works really well....Target brand I believe it is.
Thanks guys, this is perfect. I'm heading out to my brother's cabin to install XP for him, and I was loathing the thought of downloading every update over a 56K modem.
I love Mozy. I switched because every backup package I tried with Vista fell apart...I still can't get Vista to talk to my WB MyBook without hiccups.
Sure it's useful. I used it to plan my trip to Barcelona and Italy, noting where my hotels and the airports are. It's nice (and fun) to see the routes you're planning on taking before you actually get there.
