How is he as senator? Is he popular? I was very disappointed in him as the veep choice, not because he doesn’t seem like a good guy or a decent legislator, but he didn’t seem a charismatic or forceful enough presence to balance the ticket. I was hoping he’d prove me wrong in the debate but he didn’t.

Is this a precedent we really want to set though? I was discussing this with someone yesterday. Seems like a slippery slope when we’ve got a prez coming in who’s vowed to appoint deeply conservative judges and we’ve got some real old timers on the bench.

I saw a lot of polls that were not off—it just happened that all the pundits writing them up were totally discounting the margin of error. I saw that over and over and it made me very nervous.

It’s awful. I had to put mine to bed explaining to them that he was almost assuredly the winner. They were so sad and so worried and scared.

I really hope that ranked-choice or instant runoff voting takes hold in this country. Every single day I hear and read people complaining about the two party system but so few seem to be pushing for this simple solution that could make such a huge difference.

What exactly is this “record of corruption” of which she speaks? Clinton has a record of centrism that I don’t love at all, but not being left enough is hardly corrupt. I may not like it myself but plenty of Americans do.

I’m the same me I’ve always been since 2012 but there have been other non-me owls. I used to follow them all but I haven’t run into any in a while.
