Yeah, but it’s still funny.

I wonder if this is because other countries regulate things like this more strongly or at least come back at companies who step over the consumer protection line.
Did they offer to give him a new car? I missed that part. I mean getting a new car switch likely isn’t as simple as handing over the keys when you consider, taxes, tags, insurance, financing, but it would be a good faith move.
Yup to be sure. Our local Subaru dealer has been great to work with. They went out of their way to honor my third-party tire warranty and took care of all the paperwork and contacted the warranty company for me. I drove in, got two new tires and drove out. No charge except for “shop fees,” which weren’t that much and…
I don’t think the writer was being even 20% serious on this.
HAHAHAHA!!!!
Then this guy knows even less than I do! Thanks for the info. I had a friend who had to take mifepristone for a miscarriage, and I thought it contained the same ingredients. The difference is, I’m not trying to stand in the way of someone making decisions as a reflection of my personal opinions.
100% on point.
The Trade is a Trade one kind of misses the point, and I’m not shocked it comes from a car seller. This is really about how the deal is put together, and not talking about all the other stuff — down payment, trade-in — until we agree on a price.
You’re 100% right about the 50/50, and I understand how a small business would move things around and make some capacity for an order that represents a huge sale, but that’s the lesson, right?
100%
I know! I’d buy this tomorrow if it was available in the U.S. If I could get it with a stick shift, I might buy two! I still tool around town in a 1994 Dodge Dakota on the weekends. It’s stuck a simple vehicle, and does just a couple of things very well.
I guess it’s cool they’ll release the extended cab here. I’ll…
“go shit in your hat directly”
They really should hire (if they haven’t) some of Toyota’s or Honda’s design, manufacturing, and supply chain talent. Many years ago, Toyota changed how EVERYTHING in the world is manufactured.
Good commentary on this. This is genuinely upsetting. Just like the lack of women in college football calling major games on national TV. They’re all on the sidelines in the most and least symbolic way possible. Those people have jobs, however.
My grandpappy used to say, “Son, sometimes a mule gets snakebit, and it ain’t ever the same. The only thing for it is to take it fishing or dig a hole.”
Yeah that made me realize that someone has been watching Breaking Bad again.
The low-effort business model is a really big reason. These businesses are exceedingly profitable, and all you need is a good location because the initial investment and ongoing cost is minimal relative to things like fast-food joints.
