I’m not sure a player rep would be enough neutral territory, but I see what you’re getting at. Maybe a tournament rep.

You are right in your conclusions from the reporting that I’ve read. They’ve made it sound like Roland-Garros and other tournament organizers are the villain in this, and I don’t think that’s fair or accurate.
I 100% agree with you. All of what you said. That’s why someone should tell the players they are in control of those moments. They don’t have to answer the asinine question meant to elicit some kind of gotcha moment.
That’s not what they did. They cited the Code of Conduct. You could argue the Code of Conduct should be changed, but you can’t validly argue that it was misapplied or was beyond the scope of what every player agreed to.
Yup. Not collusion. Just stating what everyone had already agreed to. No one was surprised, and Roland Garros even said they didn’t apply the maximum penalty because they wanted to engage in a conversation and help her team understand how they were applying the rules.
But does the question matter all that much? The answer matters way more, and I wish we didn’t even hear the questions.
It’s utterly ridiculous how once again athletes are being forced to engage with a media that will always be hostile...
Your car will drive you home when the cloud determines your time to be optimal...
I’m agreeing with all of y’all, but I wouldn’t mind seeing driverless cargo carriers in some kind of lane that isn’t jacking up the interstate. Also, would be good for rapid bus transit or something like that.
Depends on the podcast.
I remember when it was Late Night with David Letterman, then he moved to CBS and NBC was like, “Uh, you go. Leave the name, Dave.”
haha seriously thinking the same thing. I’m not sure that math is exact.
I bow to your greatness.
I’m not one to defend sponsored content, but I have a 65% keyboard (not this one, which seems a little less than) that I use when I want a clean typing experience in my backyard. This one isn’t wireless, but that’s part of why I like my keyboard.

You could be right. I was just pointing out the why, not defending it.
Why is the giving of interviews immediately after the competition a necessity?
Y’all help me understand this. Why not just buy them online? I’m sure I’m missing something, but Amazon has them new, and you don’t have to deal with people like this. But I’m sure I’m missing something ... or maybe not.
“The press” is a big vague and sweeping. The tabloid press seems a little more accurate in this case. Those barrel scrapers are responsible.
I’m not sure that’s how it works. If you agree to something that doesn’t obligate you to make a purchase how do they have a sucker?
I’m curious about the dealer wanting the customer to agree to a $10,000 markup before a test drive. I mean, they hadn’t agreed to buy the car, so you have $0 leverage by getting them to “agree” to that. It’s meaningless and just ruins the opportunity for business.
