She did legit acting work. Everyone should be entitled to their own opinion, and aside from any other issues The People vs. Larry Flynt was a great performance. And to be fair to you, this was nearly a decade after that movie was released, and a lot can happen in a decade.

I know these lists (rightly so) always bring out the what about blah blah blah, but I’m really glad Shane Carruth in this list (twice no less). I think the dude has vision and skills. Hope he gets the opportunity and budget to reach that potential.

I enjoyed the movie as a crime-action flic, and the car stuff was a nice bonus, but you’re right, it was marketed that way.

It is press graft at its worst.
