From my driveway to yours, boom!

Is her name Cersei Lannister? That’s some mad hatred.

Yeah, your dealer isn’t my dealer either.

Man, I love the BRZ. I got a 2016 WRX instead because of the size really, and I fell in love with the new bulldog look (though it’s apparently a love it or hate it kind of deal), but I checked out the BRZ up close.

That’s a nice Benchmade.

This isn’t that, but it reminded me years and years ago my uncle, who was a truck driver, bought a new Crown Vic for his family. He noticed it was considerably faster than he expected and got awful gas mileage.

TROGDOR!!!!

Well put. All of it. Can’t disagree with you on most of that. I misread your intent with “Those of us...”

You’re absolutely right, no one should jump to conclusions because it might have been a license. But it is odd to use a slightly altered version if it is a license.

So when you say “those of us,” are you saying you don’t consume Chris Brown’s work but you do consume Woody Allen’s work?

I think people are in such uproar about Rousey’s loss in part because it was a sobering reminder that nobody can escape their humanity. Nobody can climb that far. We hope for superheroes, but we get human beings. Every single time.

Bad coffee doesn’t, and when you consider that Starbucks tends to overroast the character out of their beans, that’s reason enough to stay out of there ... you know, unless someone gives me a gift card, then #allcoffeematters.

Right! If they wanted to complain about a subjective lack of creativity and design standards, that’s something I could get behind!

I’m older than you and Jimmy Kimmel, I’m sure, and I have the Twitch app on my phone. That video above was pretty funny, but Twitch is a great way to get a look at a game before you buy it and watch players with great skills and most have amazing sense of humor.

I understand what you are saying, and it really could depend on the state you are in and the authority of the security guards in question.

I think what you’re describing is kidnapping or at least assault. Security guards can’t “detain” anyone against their will. If the car was clearly marked, they could have filed charges with police and / or called the paper.

... you know unless they weren’t trespassing or trying to steal private information. If you can see it from public property, you can document it legally. But journalists are really just members of the public who show up. They have to obey laws just like everyone else.

I was once “detained” by security people at a company where I was taking photos with permission when they saw me going to my car with my Nikon. The guards were apparently undergoing a shift change and the new workers didn’t know I was supposed to be there.

Actually, they did say something on Oct. 9, which you can read on their website ... gotta read primary sources:

This was great timing, Jason. Interestingly enough, I’m enjoying some Chemex-brewed coffee right this moment! I love cars and coffee. I think I’d have gotten along famously with Peter.
