What operating system do you use these days? I believe I’ve read that you use OS X, but have you tried out new Linux distributions?

GL551JW seems like a better option due to it only having 1080p screen. Has same GPU and slightly lesser CPU, but regular primary hard drive and small SSD not large PCIe SSD. Like you said 4K in a gaming laptop is ridiculously unusable for gaming, decent for productivity though I suppose.

Leather is a little tacky but I’m sure it feels nice. Replaceable battery and micro SD slot is a huge plus. I wonder if this will support Google Fi, or will that always be a Nexus 6+ exclusive? If so then I would definitely consider this.
