I have the Twelve South BookArc, but this looks a little more stable. The only thing missing with this compared to the BookArc is some cable management. Otherwise, looks pretty good.

They’ve done an S version since 3gs. I don’t understand why people think they’ll skip to 8 just for the 10th anniversary.
15 amps is for the regular 120V outlet. USB is 5V at up to 3.6A using this receptacle.

I love my Vortex Pok3r. Very compact, but a little heavy (which I like).
Pretty sure it’s ABS, they look pretty shiny. PBT keycaps would look more matte.
Quite honestly, I think most people would be fine with an i3 part. It has 2 cores and 4 threads (with HyperThreading), which is plenty for general multi-tasking. Unless you are rendering or encoding regularly, the extra cores won’t really help much. Most games don’t use more than a few active threads.
If only they included wireless charging with this release. Will probably make it in iPhone 7S.
East Sea!!!!
If I had that Sinn then why would I want to have an apple watch? Similarly, I just can’t see myself wearing anything else besides my Speedy.
Wow, I can’t even imagine how much your mortgage payment would be on a 30 year 0 down $2M loan.
I have a Cuckoo cooker that we bought about 5 years ago for $500 or so. At the time it just seemed crazy expensive, but my wife is happy and it cooks rice amazingly. I think spending more for something that lasts is better than getting the $20 cooker that will die in 6 months with heavy use.
I don’t trust those cost of living calculators. This list is saying that it’s more expensive to live in San Jose than San Francisco...
TIL Vegas isn’t a party city.
I wish it could seat 5. One too many kid :(
No zip drive either, I’m out.

Yup, I’m a dumbass. My mistake, it’s 128 BIPS, not 128 TIPS.
Yup. i7 with 4 cores 8 threads can theoretically perform at 4 IPC (instructions per cycle) on all threads. So 8 threads times 4 IPC times 4 GHz = 128 trillion insructions per second. Getting 1.78 trillion instructions per second with 1000 cores is actually pretty weak.
Hmm, is this a review or just a complaint about the small battery? I was genuinely interested in what this laptop provides (screen size, cpu, dram, storage) but all it talks about is how battery life sucks but that it’s so small and light that the author would still consider it.
