Wow thank you for that insight! I’m going to pick this up before the movie comes out for sure now :-)
Absolutely. I’d like to see more male homemakers as well because it’s always good for kids to grow up seeing that both men and women play an equal role in raising children and to have someone who can take the pressure off a partner with a high pressure job.
The funny thing is, that women still value the career aspirations and (potential) future income of a man still as one of the most defining factors when looking for a partner. She feels she’s suffered enough humiliation with her plagiarized speech and the revelation that they’ve been lying about her being college educated.
“Also where in the fuck is Melania???”

Meg felt awkward and ugly, but was described as beautiful in later books. They’ll give Storm glasses and braces, and not make her up to red carpet standards, and she’ll be fine.
I just hope they don’t try to make it a multi-million dollar blockbuster. This is a simple, humble story- it doesn’t need to be a spectacle.…
Couldn’t agree more! I will DEFINITELY be seeing the movie, but I’m glad that I’ve had a chance to imagine everything on my own before seeing someone else’s interpretation of such a fantastic story.
