I had no idea who Ms. Kochiyama was until I clicked on the doodle. I’d love to read more about her. Her views in her later years seemed... controversial to say the least - but she apparently did a great deal of good in her life. Can anyone point in the right direction of where I may learn more about her?
I feel like the show doesn’t know what to do with Dorian. He was better as vain and decadent immortal - once he started openly murdering, he became more one-note. I wonder if Sybil Vane will show up as a woman of the streets (not a suicide) and her story will turn Lily and army against him.
I could watch Billie Piper rail against the Patriarchy and Eva Green stare intensely for hours. My only complaints about this season are; 1.) The lack of Ferdinand Lyle. and 2.) Killing off the token Magical Negro and replacing him with a Mystical Injun.
I met Billy Piper a few weeks ago, told her i loved her in Penny Dreadful, but her character creeped me out in season 2.. she laughed a lovely pleasant laugh and then said very stone faced ’last season I creeped you out? You are REALLY going to be creeped out watching this season!” :) <3
Victor Frankenstein murdered Brona Croft, not Ethan Chandler/Talbot. Ethan was caring for her, and left her alone with Victor, who decided to put his sex slave plan into operation a little earlier than nature intended.
