A few are interesting but mostly it frustrated me at how unfunny people make things by overthinking them.

If you like her in this, definitely give You’re the Worst a try. Actually not that different of a performance, if you leave out the Nazi stuff and replace it with alcohol dependence!
Yes, you should watch You’re the Worst. In my mind, the most underrated show of the last 10 years. Also, it seemed to me that the voice of Liberty in the flashback was Aya Cash--did I mishear that?
I love Stormfront! The character and her mannerisms minus all the clearly racist behavior coming our way. Like if she was a good superhero she would be my favorite.
I’ve never seen Aya Cash in anything before, but she’s amazing in this. I love her! #Stormchasers
I’m all against people filming in cinema screens... Except for this. I will always be thankful this moment was captured in videos, and especially now. You're right, it's an even more significant, moving moment in hindsight.
Just watched it. Was excellent.
obviously you haven’t seen Adaptation either
The book feels like a better fit for Donald Kaufman than it does for Charlie.
It’s not uncommon for a particularly idiosyncratic director to bend adapted material to their own sensibilities. Nobody says the identity of Jaws lies with Peter Benchley, and Kaufman’s more than a few degrees more idiosyncratic than Spielberg.
As someone who watched the original in the theater my junior year of high school, it was exactly what I hoped for. I really enjoyed it. Dennis Caleb McCoy was the standout new joke, I think. I can understand if it’s a Gen X thing... I would say your enjoyment will depend on your enjoyment of the first one (or two). If…
This was an absolute delight, just a huge amount of fun, sweet and warmhearted and very, very funny and I can’t understand Katie’s response at all. I’m a huge fan of the first two and presumed I’d end up being disappointed, but the opposite occurred and I think I may even prefer it to Bogus Journey.
watched it this morning, was fun. it moves right along, and i had several moments where i laughed out loud. enjoy!
I’ll never forgive or forget the AV Club’s D grade for DREDD: a movie that delivered the absolutely flawless mix of Karl Urban scowling, wearing the helmet the entire running length, and muttering “motherFUCKER” when that corrupt judge got his head blown off.
This review makes it sound like exactly like what I expect from Bill and Ted: 30 years later. Sign me up.
They had me at “Bill & Ted”.
I saw this yesterday and I’ll say it’s better than the reviews let on. It’s fun in a shaggy-dog kinda way–just like the first two. Paine and Weaving steal the film–they are separated from B&T for most of the movie but the opening scene wonderfully establishes how much they are their fathers’ daughters, so it’s…
Don't care, will watch, will love.
His audition for Nightbreed, no doubt.
She was pretty great in the short-lived Jay Mohr vehicle Action.
