If you’re _good_ with a handgun, getting hits on a torso-sized target at 50is not overly difficult. I shot an IDPA match the other week where we had to do that, and I think I went like 3 for 4 on the timer.

The end-game solution really has to be some kind of pass-through splitter device that sits between your source/receiver and TV to drive the Hue light sync. Trying to do it with a camera or whatever is hack-ish and not so reliable.  I doubt it would be cheap, but I’d probably still go in for one... I have a proper home…

Depends on what part of VA. The southern part of VA feels more “Southern”, but the northern part is more mid-Atlantic. Makes sense, you’d expect some regional blending on the borders of the different regions.
