My problem with the Tech is that is doesn’t get dark enough, give me an OLED with pure blacks and a screen at like 50 nits brightness and I guarantee you that will just be a comfortable experience.

Plus it’s just plain cool. My Mustang has big screens with carplay and meager ambient lighting, but it just gives a lot…

I really love the look of these in person it looks perfect, posh yet utilitarian. I wish all the new ones were the metris because the contractor options do like very unattractive

Porsche sells the cayenne turbo for over 170k, and Tesla sells 100k+ Model S’s all the time. Trust me the quickest SUV in the world is going to sell fine.

It’s a luxury car, cheap really isn’t a worry if people will pay. Plus no one buys a base Tesla anyway. But there will be one, remember this is a SUV version of the Model S, so a 70kw battery is a huge possibility if not a guaranty. So 80k will probably be base, but even then it’s still not the most expensive, ffs the…

That’s my biggest worry, you’ll have to unhook the trailer in a parking lot nearby with room, and pray no one took your spot by then... Would especially suck if you didn’t have a lock for your trailer either.

But the example your imagination is implied... is that people are litter just like 2 inches thick, and apparently conventional doors don’t come with plastic trim on the doors requiring more room.

I give you that, but remember they’re not leaving wires hanging out, electric works just as well as petrol. It’s not going to electrocute you in the water, or stop working; if anything you may have to worry about the angle of descent, since it’s not just a independent differential sinking down powered by the axle.

But if people will pay more, why not? But take in mind we’re only talking about the top dog battery, there still is the “budget” 70kw battery for later. But expect the base to still cost at least 80k, not cheap but neither is the slower Porsche that can cost 170k for the turbo

Take in mind this is only talking about the 90kw battery, without mention of the 70kw battery (which everyone is overlooking) so base model will probably be like 80k which everyone will skip because only 200 odd something of range.
