I would have because I always look forward to this entry simply to see if any fans bothered to send in submissions or if Drew’s be stuck being a one-man show, mailing it in under the “if no one else cares, why should I” clause.

This is one of those stories where I read the headline and saw the pic of the Twitter page, assumed it was from The Onion and just cross-posted here and then it became a lot funnier when I found out it is real.
Well, when you’re replying to a person talking about him as a coach (in the context of why a school would care so much about a guy who is mediocre at his job, especially when he seems to be a really shitty person) and WR is the position he coaches, yeah, that would be the focus. At least if you live on a planet where…
The main positive attribute I’ve heard about Smith as a coach is that he’s a super hard-working guy on the recruiting trail. Who goes out and gets a bunch of 4* or better receivers and coaches them to become a near faceless collection of mediocrity.
I’d never heard of it until clicking on this, so count me in as one of billions who don’t watch it.
If he spends his entire term in character, he’ll go down as the best mayor in mayoring history!
The real OU: Ohio University. I’m not sure why they’d have to deal with that shit, but I won’t have my school play second fiddle to the Sooners just because they’re better athletically in every way!!!!!
And damn, we’re talking the school who, with their last football “issue” had the former AD say he hoped coach didn’t fire him when asked about if discipline would go that far. You’d think there’d be some sort of learning from past PR mistakes, at least.
I believe if there was no cover-up, the only downfall would be Smith’s. Because of what definitely looks like a cover-up, the really high-tier head coach who doesn’t have the woman-beating rap might be facing his downfall.
Nutting loves Wilpon’s presence in the NL because he might be cheap and he might have people of questionable competence handling the personnel duties, but goddamnit, he’s at least low-key about his suckitude instead of letting it blow up so that everyone can see how much of a dipshit he is!
Being so fired up about ultramarathons that you write a lengthy Facebook post concerning your thought process about either being a snitch or allowing the integrity of THIS race to be diminished because a dude got a few sips of water in a no-water zone?
He’s too busy flaying Jordan Hicks in his secret clubhouse torture chamber because, obviously, getting crushed yesterday and causing Matheny to get fired shows that he hasn’t yet learned the Cardinal Way.
YAY! The Cards are too irrelevant to brutally mock now!!!!! It’s not really a victory, but it’s as close as St. Louis fans have had in some time.
The ALL-CAPS love was strong in this edition. Goddamnit...
Considering how that statue is one of the most unintentionally hilarious things ever created, I have no problem with it remaining in a prominent position. Future generations need a good laugh, too!
Maybe in 2013, since they did only lose 3-2 to the Cards and having a guy like Machado could conceivably boost them past them in one of those three losses. For 14 and 15, it would come down to whether he pushed them from wild card to division champ, since they weren’t beating Arrieta or Bumgarner those years in a…
I don’t know that I’d go as far as calling her a female Eugene, since most appearances that she’s made tend to go along the route of “be smiling, someone says something, get pissed, someone gets assaulted”, but what you’re saying is the sort of thing that anyone with more brainpower than the average WWE writer (which…
I’m a fan of the Pirates. After getting off to a surprising good start for a month and a half, they have been complete shit since (something like 15-30 during that stretch) to move them from 8 above .500 to 7 below. They would still be second place in the AL Central, even at their current 41-48. And it’d be the AL…
Either that or Hunter Strickland was impersonating San Fran’s GM for the lulz.
They’re in the same division as Cincinnati, dude. The cellar is a long way away unless they drop 20 straight as a result of this. Which is a stronger possibility than I’d like to admit.
