I can definitely wait for a lower price than $70, if there’s ANY studio whose games I can wait to buy for a few patches after launch, it’s Bethesda

I didn’t even get around to playing this, hopefully Epic will at least give it away since they love giving stuff away so much.

I watched this episode earlier today and since it took place in Orlando I absolutely knew they must have removed some Disney references

The Carmen Sandiego series only did Where in North Dakota is Carmen Sandiego before abandoning their plan to do all 50 states. Maybe if we can get at least one abandoned project for each state we’ll be doing ok.

....or do we?

I 100% believe he’s paralyzed by internet scrutiny and basically can’t perform enthusiastically because he knows that nobody’s going to be happy. I’m not saying he’s a great person or a great choice for the role but I’d be depressed as shit about doing the job if I was him. Still would rather have something

Just like drugs!

To be honest I even cancelled Gamepass because of how many games I had on my backlog that I own. It’s a constant struggle.

Like many people (there’s a popular subreddit for it), my facebook account was recently hacked and then disabled because the hacker posted something, and then I couldn’t get it back because “Facebook doesn’t have enough staff to review this case because of Covid-19" so this is incredibly infuriating.

Demand will probably just be high forever because Disney will never get another land deal like they did in Orlando, so supply (number of parks) will probably stay the same forever. This is another one where the only thing that will correct the price will be economic collapse and that might just make them shutter it.

It’s not a bad value on its own but as one of many people who already have a VR-capable PC, it’s pretty unattractive to have to buy a PS5 to use this thing and then be locked into an ecosystem with only a handful of new games, especially if the thing flops and not a whole lot ends up coming out for it, which we all

I assume he just chose the path of least resistance and just took the free publicity and let IKEA look like the bad guy. Not the worst strategy ever.

I’m sure someone will just mod it all back in. Everyone loves an IKEA hack

At this point I want Bayonetta 3 DLC that specifically makes fun of her

It’s getting hard to deal with the cognitive dissonance of “your brand new phone will be obsolete in a couple of years” vs “buy this two year old game console for its original price which will increase soon

I’d say this could’ve been a really great opportunity for a Disco Elysium/Bethesda type experience where you can choose your moral alignment, but realistically the evil path would be such an easy mode that the game would practically play itself, and the good path would still be pretty easy

As someone who ordered a beanbag chair from Amazon which then required an additional $40 of foam filling to keep my ass from touching the floor when I sat in it, this does not surprise me in the least.

The first indie console games were made by Activision in 1980 for the Atari 2600. Wild how all that ended up playing out.

The idea of SNL “killing” anything is by far the biggest error

It’s a way for companies to not have to sell hardware at a loss or have to spend any money on repairs or returns (see also the reason Apple keeps removing buttons and other parts) but there’s no reason why any of us consumers should give a damn about that because none of the savings will be passed along to us, but all
