Top pic looks like the start of a horror movie. Also, this would have been better with Jude Law/young pope.

10/10 would watch
If it makes you feel any better Sean Hannity is losing it on Twitter.
If anybody need a little dose of late-night graveyard humor about all of this, Rachel Maddow reminded me earlier tonight that the lawyer Trump hired to represent him was the lead defense lawyer hired by Sberbank, the Russian oligarch’s finance bank that’s run for Putin’s benefit They were being sued by the Federal…
I was alive during the Nixon thing, but was just a babe. I am so looking forward to this!!
It was such a joke, especially considering like half the presidents before that had mistresses or whatever.
...so much winning
Just like the abusers, he always spins himself as a victim and lawyers up. He is not under attack. America is and he is the fucking perpetrator.
Blow job impeachment? Nobody in their right mind took that seriously.
I cannot wait for every adult who told me there wouldn’t be an impeachment with a GOP-controlled Congress to eat crow.
I am having a hard time grappling with the whole “innocent until proven guilty” due process of law thing while simultaneously thinking “holy fuck this motherfucker is Scott Peterson levels of guilty.” The second thought gives me so much more glee.
It’s because they have no class. Chew gum, eat at Hooters, wear baseball caps at all times, hang a fake scrotum from the trailer hitch on your rolling coal truck.
As the son of an Engineer who married a woman whose father is also an engineer (electric in both cases) I find this comment both hilarious and of the highest veracity!
I lived in Baltimore until last year - not in the neighborhood in this video, but one nearby. Most of these buildings are around 100 years old. In the house my wife and I lived in, the mortar (and pretty much everything else) was is pretty rough shape. I wouldn’t call it shoddy or faulty construction, but I really…
That’s not how buildings should fall down. I know because I have seen many movies and that makes me an expert. That building was rigged for demolition by the government for some vast shadowy conspiracy that we’ll only find hints about 3 years from now on Wikileaks.
Mechanical Engineers build the weapons, Civil Engineers build the targets
I find it interesting how you qualified your first statement by distancing yourself from Civil engineering. My daughter is a senior in an Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering program here in southern California and she says the Civil engineering majors get a bit of grief about their major. Not from her, but it’s…
I mean, I always thought that was the point of row houses, that they share a single foundation and load-bearing walls (unlike town homes where each unit has its own foundation...).
I’m pretty sure if that TINY pile of bricks was enough to take down that building, it was ready to go anyway and was probably being held together with inertia and spider webs.
I’m an engineer (not a civil engineer) and not an architect, but I really don’t understand how this demolition could have ended any other way. Those houses were so close together (and who knows how they were connected), I just don’t see how one act (demo of the first) could have avoided affecting the other. …
