This site isn't a personal blog, it's a site branded as a sophisticated critique on pop culture and all that good stuff. So yah, this article felt more like a bitchy blog at some points then it did a critique and it irked me.

This was a great doc. Watched it when I was a rebellious teenager and it kind of scared me straight .. or at least made me realize I wasn't nearly as much as a badass as I thought i was.

My first thought was that she just needed to get away, to be alone. When things seem too comfortable and stable that's when Gretchen goes into self-sabotage mode. It's a power move. She can't get hurt if she never gives anyone the chance.
