I’ve only seen Radiohead once- and I thought it was a great performance even though the odds were stacked against it being a good experience. It was at a festival in 2004 just after “Hail to the Thief” (my least favorite Radiohead album, though There There still floors me every time I hear it).

I’ve been curious but not watched any of this series. Is GLOW really worth getting into? Is it a one-trick ‘80's joke, or is there really substance to it?

NOFX music sucks. Shouldn’t that be enough of a reason to ban them?  No additional reason is needed. 

Any recommendations for hip hop I can listen to ona car trip with my 8year old daughter?  She likes hip hop. And I can explain through a lot. But the misogynistic sexual stuff, I’m not going to just listen to that with her and have her later think that’s normal and acceptable. Or that I’m a total creep.

Yes, Yeesuz is abrasive and lyrically off putting (for the most part). By comparison so is In Utero. That doesn’t mean they’re bad. I like them both and find them interesting.

Did anyone like Life of Pablo? I couldn’t get into it. Yeezus was a near masterpiece, LoP, not so much...

There is something here. How about renaming the show after Roseanne leaves “... ?” and just have the cast sit around, looking at each other awkwardly in silence. The first couple of episodes would be bad. But by the third episode the creepy surrealism would be intriguing.

Metcalf should play the role of Jesus Quintana’s ex-wife. There would be some comedy gold in that setup. 

Wow... What a “good,” tragic write up. I intially wanted to say “beautiful,” but it feels like that would be a celebration of his downfall. And I don’t want to celebrate that.

I’m reading The Disaster Artist now. What if David Lynch tried his hand at something surreal and funny? Granted, The Room works so well, in it’s own way, due to the gross incompetence that went into to making it. But I’d love a surreal comedy from Lynch.
