Honestly the funniest thing to me about this entire project is still that their Gollum model just looks like a low-quality version of Gollum from the movies but if he was also wearing a bad toupee.

It’s funny in retrospect to think about how the reaction to them announcing the $599 price for the PS3 at E3 was like the polar opposite to them announcing the $199 price of the PS1 at E3. Just completely screwing up their efforts for years.
Well there you go! Seems so bizarre in the world of Smart Delivery but I get that not every game has agreed to use that service.
GTA V on Game Pass includes both the Xbox One and “next-gen” Xbox Series X/S versions
It’s funny to me that so many gaming sites have been abandoning official forums in favor of Discord, related subreddits, or uh... nothing, but here’s Pokemon setting up official forums like it’s the year 2000.
Yeah I’ve heard lots of great things about. I’ve got a copy of the FFX/X-2 HD collection for my PlayStation TV floating around somewhere so I should really give it a shot.
I think it’s hard for people who weren’t around at the time to realize just how big a deal it was that the PS2 had a DVD player, y’know? (And, to your point, apparently hard for people at Sega to realize it either.)
Is anybody aware of where these leaks came from? I feel like normally when something like this starts making the rounds I’ve seen people point out where it first came from but I haven’t seen anything (unless it’s been leaked specifically to SegaRetro?).
Ah, well. I haven’t played those, so I can’t say what I’d think of them.
Do the movies not count as a revival? I thought that they were a new deal after the initial cancellation, which would make them the first revival, Comedy Central the second revival, and this the third, right?

I do think it’s probably the best Spider-Man game I’ve played, but it’s not like the rest of the Spider-Man games out there are particularly well-known for being all that good.
I honestly can’t even remember the drone challenges. Were those the ones where you have to chase something through the city? I didn’t think they were fun but I didn’t remember them giving me too much trouble.
Sure, but isn’t X-2 basically just another jobs-based Final Fantasy game? I haven’t played it but the combat always seemed pretty clearly in-line with other jobs games.
I mean, the gameplay and structure, obviously? Not sure why you’d assume I was talking about anything else, but yeah.
To be fair, I’m looking at the best-selling games on PS4 and 8 out of their top 10 best-sellers were exclusives and each of them sold more than 8 million copies. That’s not a bad showing for their exclusives, at least in terms of sales.
It’s funny how Rockstar used a vibe that practically feels like a parody about how dark and awful Batman can be and then decided to cast actors from the DCAU version of Batman. Truly bizarre.
I mean, sure, it’s cool to visit places I know - I started playing it around the time I started a new job in Manhattan and it was fun finding my building - but I dunno, I’ve been doing stuff like that since the first open-world games started showing a “realistic” NYC like twenty years ago. Even if the fidelity is…
I typed up a more detailed list and then felt it wasn’t particularly important so I deleted it. But sure, here you go:
