To be fair, I think Nintendo has said something along the lines of “these are all different legends about these characters” so it’s not completely unreasonable to stick with that idea.

Yeah, I mean it is exactly a mass market, lowest common denominator kids movie. It turned out exactly how I thought it would after hearing “Super Mario Bros movie by the people who made Minions.”
I will say that as somebody who didn’t have a PS3 or PS4 but just got a PS5, I think I got my hopes up too much about the PlayStation exclusives. The only genuinely great exclusives I’ve played so far have been Bloodborne and Uncharted 4. The one I was most bummed about was Spider-Man; not because it’s bad, but…
My dude, I came here to say the exact same thing and I’m honestly kinda glad you did it first because I’m fighting off a cold and just don’t have the energy for it today.
I’m not sure how your response is particularly relevant to mine. I was commenting on how I’d prefer these major platform holders to build internal studios instead of acquire long-standing third-party publishers because I want those publishers to remain independent.
Yeah, I mean, I already have MGS 2 and 3 (and therefore MG1 and 2) on Xbox from the HD collection, so this doesn’t hold a ton of sway over me. The main thing for me is whether or not it’ll be worth picking up the original MGS or just getting the GOG version.
These games aren’t in the timeline because the timeline is and always has been a meaningless thought experiment that the Zelda developers have literally said they have and will change when they feel like it.
Yeah same. Zelda says something at the end of Breath of the Wild about one of the Divine Beasts not working, so maybe they broke down? I dunno.
The books are inconsistent with each other and with the games themselves. Trying to make sense of it is a fools errand.
Blade Runner: Revelations is a 2018 VR game developed by Seismic Games and published by Alcon Entertainment for the Google Daydream.
I think I knew about all of those but there was a Dracula crossover? Ha, wild.
I didn’t even care about the fan service so you can imagine how I felt about the movie.
Yeah I think the real story here is not those maniacs who are trying to play a game like Metal Gear with a mouse & keyboard - though I want to say to those maniacs that I support their right to torture themselves like that - but it does make me wonder exactly how Konami is bringing this game to PC and modern consoles.
Sorry, I think you might’ve misread my statement. I’m not saying playing only one sport is odd; I’m saying that only playing one videogame might seem odd, but when thought of in the context of a playing a competitive game (like a sport) as a leisure activity, I think it’s not so unusual.
Well their team probably wrote it in 30 minutes and for some reason my brain has been thinking about over and over again for almost 30 years so yeah I’d say that’s probably likely.
Sure, but I was responding to the dude above who said it was a bug. Again: I’m not saying it was done for this or that reason, but there’s basically zero possibility this wasn’t an intentional change.
Huh, I didn’t know that!
Ha yeah. I mean, I don’t know what kind of revenue share somebody like Robert Downey Jr. gets from his face appearing on a toy, but I bet it’s a healthy amount of it.
