That is the point though. The DNC is not supposed to pick candidates. Instead they were fairly upfront about being sure to toss whatever support they could to just one candidate.

The thing is the Democratic Party is not a monolith. If the Left is not willing to have its internal discussion play out in public, then people will feel left out. If they feel left out, then the introspection you are talking about may as well not happen at all.

People will lose rights and their lives under Trump. Quite possibly America itself will end.

Most of Sanders supporters voted for Clinton though.

Also, black women voted for Clinton at 94%. They voted like their lives depended on it...because they do.
