What’s funny is, before the dawn of microtransactions, you still had that content locked behind 18 hours of grinding, but you didn’t have the option to buy a bundle to skip it, and people were happy with it. Seems to me like people are blowing things out of proportion.

This sounded so good until I saw the apricot jam and mango in the recipe :C

It’s so awesome they’ve started adding PS4 games to PS Now. PS Now is such a fantastic service (albeit a bit pricey)

You seem to have missed almost every esports post here on Kotaku lately.

While it is funny and whatnot, how is anyone supposed to take eSports seriously as a Sport if eSports can’t even take itself seriously?

I’m talking about the sandbox part of it, not the story. I’m also not giving FC5 any marks at all, high or low. I’m just stating that the sandbox side of casual sandbox games is supposed to be mindless fun.

I guess that’s a big difference, I don’t really care about urgency. Hell, it was why I liked the Dead Rising so much, they got rid of the damned timers and escort missions. It was great.

I don’t know what you’re trying to say? I never once said otherwise. Hell, I never said Farcry 5 was remotely comparable on that note.

I’ll be honest, I was never arguing that FarCry had more or less to do in that Mindless category. I haven’t even played FarCry 5 yet, nor do I want to til it’s <$10.

Sandboxes are supposed to be mindless. GTA is a perfect example.

I don’t see why punishment for dying should be even remotely a requirement for a “good singleplayer sandbox”. If I want to fuck around in a “good singleplayer sandbox”, the only punishment should be going back to a checkpoint at worst, and just respawning back at a base or similar at best.

If it weren’t for other games getting released on Steam, Valve would’ve have completely lost my business. This is a shit move, with an archaic plan that should be saved for F2P and physical tabletop.

It’s a porterhouse.

Right?

Not really something to joke about.

I think it looks pretty damned nice.

This isn’t about agreeing with an opinion. They make it sound like a LARGE MAJORITY has the problem, that’s where it is objectively, factually INCORRECT.

Actually, I’m kind of neutral about the series. I’m just sick of Kotaku making problems out of something that’s not a problem, kind of like the Catherine debacle (where they acted like EVERYONE was pissed about the new trans character, when in actuality the majority of the community was COMPLETELY SUPPORTIVE AND

It’s sad when you can’t tell the difference between joking about a video game character and a real human being.

There’s a huge difference. A massively huge difference. Your over-sensitivity is really a problem.
