Welp, payout is leaning me to get the car bought back and to decide between a GTI or a Golf R. Just depends on how much I want to sink myself again...

I’m still waiting on the Canadian end of the deal, but considering that the $1000 hush money was parallel to the US, I may take the deal as it pegs my 2012 Golf hatch at ~20,000 according to the documents. This begs the question: GTI or Golf R?
