It depends how it’s done. There’s something pleasing about a build that ignores everything except what is relevant for driving enjoyment.
I wouldn’t call this just a “bunch of parts”, it’s a fairly well established set of compatible parts and conversion kits. There’s just no fine tuning or significant cosmetic work.
