I don’t think its just throwing a bunch of stuff together that makes the car cool. I think its mostly that the dude made something his own the way he could. The story behind the car is what makes it cool.

I can appreciate a REAL rat rod. One that someone makes themselves and mods themselves rather than using money and intentional shittiness to make a rat like car. Also those wheel flares in the back, can be cool if it was actually usefull.

It’s fun for that 24 LeMons race series I imagine. To live with on a daily basis? Yeah, I don’t think I would want to spend much time in this thing, unless I had my own private short-course.

I think one part of it is it’s not yet another common something-or-the-other with a bunch of common bolt-on parts.

i dunno, tossing a bunch of go-fast parts at a car still counts as giving a fuck about something in my opinion.
